The surface of the local quasigeoid, constructed at the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography on the basis of heterogeneous data (astronomy, gravimetry) is considered as geometrical surface. For that surface the metric tensor, Christoffel symbols, Gaussian and mean curvatures were computed. The results are correlated with geotectonic structure and other geophysical phenomena of the territory of the Czech Republic.

Global horizontal and vertical movements were computed for individual tectonic plates from the velocity vectors published for ITRF2000. For the stations within the frame of those plates the differences from the global displacements and their rms errors were then computed.

Near the IGS Station GOPE ( SE from Prague) the locality of significant recent slope movements was identified by geomorphological investigations. In the frame of complex screening of environs of geodynamic station GOPE 5 epochs of observations were performed at given network every half year (9.2002-9.2004). Observations were carried out in horizontal and vertical components. Processing was realized by adjustments of results of observations and their differences individually for horizontal resp. vertical components. Analysis of results witnees for conclusion that contemporary slope movements do not reach the values, which could endanger stability of near surroundings of GOPE station.

Development of the quasigeoids on the territory of the Czech Republic with succesive icorporating of new gravimetric observations on the territory of the CR and data gained from the territories of neighbouring countries. Estimations of accuracy of individual models. Testing the models by employment of GPS/levelling results on the profile with maximum change of quasigeoid elevation and by comparing with the GPS/levelling results at test areas.
