Most researchers and authors dealing with loneliness and solitude clearly distinguish these two concepts. In their reflections they most often point to the existence of two distinct states, ie objective – physical, or loneliness, as opposed to the subjective – psychic, which is loneliness (sometimes called mental loneliness). Despite the recognition of this distinction, there is still no consensus on the content behind the two terms. It is worth mentioning that many writers on loneliness related to old age do not define it at all (Abrams, Blau, Sheldon, Karn). According to I. Yoloma, loneliness results from a lack of communication with another person. This is especially noticeable in the elderly, who have been eliminated from everyday life due to family, health or social situations. Solitude is the most common result of the lack of social relationships, including relationships with the family. It causes emotional disorders, reduces or limits the ability to accept and to work effectively. The narratives of the subjects clearly distinguish these two states: loneliness and solitude. They can also point to the specific experiences of their lives which confirm the different nature of these two states. Purpose of the study was to describe the unique phenomenon of solitude in a relationship. Also show many aspects of loneliness, resulting from the experience of the subjects.

In the pursuit of success, stuck in the shadow of reality, we often forget that every day we use goods of the environment which surrounds us. We do not realize that behavior of particular people, their families and social groups influences the elements of natural history. This article focuses on the adjustment of our lifestyle to the idea of balanced development. That is why environmental education, which supports understanding the correlation between man, his products and the environment, should be offered to all people, in particular the youngest, who will be able to direct the patterns of pro-environmental behavior to elderly people.

W artykule analizuję problem zdrowia psychicznego dzieci z pokolenia „płatków śniegu”. Przedmiotem artykułu jest problematyka depresji dziecięcej dotykająca cały system rodzinny. Przedstawiono główne objawy tej choroby z uwzględnieniem ich wpływu na relacje rodzinne. Przypomniano główne funkcje rodziny, które stanowiły podstawę do analizy testów narracyjnych. Dużo uwagi poświęcono opisowi wpływu depresji na życie całej rodziny, w tym na małżeństwo, kontakty z dziećmi, kontakty społeczne, zmiany w aktywności rodziny i sytuacji materialnej, a także reakcje emocjonalne członków rodziny. Analiza testów narracyjnych pokazuje reakcje rodziny na chorobę dziecka.

In the article I analyze the problem of mental health about children of the generation of "snowflakes". The subject of the article is the problem of child depression affecting the whole family system. The main symptoms of this disease are presented. They are discussed in detail with their impact on family relationships. The main functions of the family were recalled, as they gave the structure for the analysis of narrative tests. A lot of attention was paid to the description of the impact of depression on the life of the whole family, including marriage, contact with children, social contacts, changes in the family's activity and material situation, as well as emotional reactions of family members. The analysis of narrative tests shows the family's reactions to the child's disease.
