. The modern economical and environmental needs require dramatic steps to improve the fuel efficiency and exhaust gas content of ICE. One of the most radical ways to solve these problems consists in using alternative fuels especially the natural gas. We have selected the dual-fuel technology to solve the gas fuel operation problem in concern to the small ship fleet used as a transport and recreation vessels in St-Petersburg and its suburbs. With aim to lower the liquid fuel delivery it was investigated the combustion process in such an engine. It was stated that heat release curve includes two different phases corresponding to two fundamentally differing burning processes. The actual problem consists in enlarging of fuel spray length at low delivery modes. It may be done using the special nozzle with two sets of orifices opened by two separate needles and constant pressure delivery valve in the fuel pump. The further improvement of the motor ship performance and operation features is reached by means of using cryogenic gas storage in liquid farm instead of cylinder s. Ali above improvements are foreseen in project of high speed boat on submerged wings The boat operation costs are lowered more then twice bong with considerable diminishing of air pollution.
