This article presents the remarks concerning the understanding of globalization by Nataliya Narotchnitskaya – Russian politician, historian, and diplomat. She is the author of several works dedicated to Russian history, anti-globalism, as well as international, political, and spiritual affairs. She maintains relations with centres in Western Europe that are opposed to globalization, supranational mechanisms, and the loss of national sovereignty. Undoubtedly, the key issues that the Russian researcher associates with the phenomenon of globalization include: problems with the cultural identity, poor condition of the state, cutting off Europe from its Christian roots. These issues have been taken into consideration in this article.
