The author’s basic aim was to attempt defining the relations occurring between the European way of managing a company and the European cultural model. The author is attempting a presentation of the effect of the cultural factor – in the historical dimension – on the manifestations of the process of the European way of managing a company. The sphere of culture favors creating Euro-managers’ consciousness and identity, and also influences the manifestations of the European way of managing a company.
The enhancement of cohesion policy can be achieved through an analysis of cultural conditioning. Given the ongoing economic integration taking place in Europe, the cultural and historical conditioning can pose various threats to less developed and more peripheral regions. Such an analysis can bring an opportunity to transfer knowledge and solutions to problems associated with cultural diversity management. It is worth noting that this can affect the way the allocation of structural funds is optimized.
