The importance of organizational changes is reflected in vast knowledge about this topic. However existing concepts do not give sufficient attention to psychical processes which are experienced by people participating in the process of implementing changes. This gap is satisfactory filled in by the concepts of W. Bridges presented in the article. In the opinion the article's author if managers know this concept and take it into consideration in their actions, then the chance of effective implementation of a change in the organization greater and employees are spared many negative emotions.
