Transport is one of the most important logistical subsystem. It occurs at every stage of the logistic chain. Efficiency of transportutilization is an important element determining the financial results of an enterprise. In addition to the use of transport systems, organizational and management issues also play an important role in this matter. Traditional approach sometimes seems to be insufficient, especially in the case of complicated transportation tasks. The solution in this case is the use of modeling and optimization of the transport system used by the company, that has been presented in the paper, on the basis of the selected example. Optimal use of transport provides tangible benefits and allows to achieve competitive advantage in the market.

Transport jest jednym z najważniejszych podsystemów logistycznych. Występuje on na każdym etapie funkcjonowania łańcucha logistycznego. Efektywność wykorzystania transportu jest istotnym elementem decydującym o wynikach finansowych przedsiębiorstwa. Oprócz wykorzystywania systemów transportowych istotną rolę odgrywa tu również kwestia organizacji i zarządzania. Tradycyjne podejście czasem wydaje się niewystarczające szczególnie w przypadku wystąpienia skomplikowanych zadań transportowych. Rozwiązaniem w tym przypadku jest wykorzystanie modelowania i optymalizacji wykorzystywanych przez przedsiębiorstwo systemów transportowych coteż przedstawiono w referacie na podstawie wybranego przykładu. Optymalne wykorzystanie transportu zapewnia uzyskanie wymiernych korzyści i pozwala na uzyskanie przewagi konkurencyjnej na rynku.

Wartość pracy przewozowej nieustannie wzrasta, co przyczynia się do zwiększonego ruchu pojazdów transportowych. W Polsce głównym rodzajem transportu jest transport drogowy, na co wskazują dane publikowane przez Główny Urząd Statystyczny. Głównymi czynnikami decydującymi o bezpieczeństwie w ruchu drogowym jest liczba wypadków, rannych oraz ofiar wypadków drogowych. Aby zminimalizować ryzyko wystąpienia zdarzenia drogowego lub jego skutki opracowywane są coraz nowsze rozwiązania infrastrukturalne w zakresie ruchu drogowego oraz systemy montowane w pojazdach. Mimo znacznego wzrostu natężenia ruchu drogowego wskaźniki dotyczące wypadkowości, rannych oraz ofiar wypadków drogowych są coraz mniejsze, co świadczy o poprawnym działaniu nowoczesnych rozwiązań.

The value of the transport performance is constantly increasing, which contributes to the increased traffic of transport vehicles. In Poland, the main kind of transport is the road transport, as indicated by the data published by the Central Statistical Office. The main factors determining the safety of the road transport system are the number of accidents, injuries and victims of road accidents. In order to minimize the risk of a road accident occurrence or its consequences, newer infrastructure solutions in the field of road traffic and systems installed in vehicles are developed. Despite a significant increase in road traffic, the rates of accidents, injuries and victims of road accidents are decreasing, which proves that modern solutions are working properly.

The organization of public transport greatly contributes to the proper traffic management policy of vehicles.They are an active element cooperating with the infrastructure. However, the organization of transport is not an easy task. The constantly changing demand on lines characterized by various length and intensity of use makes it difficult to decide on the choice of vehicle. Vehicles with various technical and functional parameters along with a specific frequency of running create an offer for users which is not always adapted to their needs. All the changes affecting the functioning of the rolling stock are reflected in the costs of the communication company. Analysis of the company's operations allows to identify some areas that can be optimized. The savings concern lowerfuel consumption by adjusting the capacity and type of vehicle used.

Organizacja transportu publicznego w dużej mierze przyczynia się do właściwej polityki zarządzania ruchem pojazdów. To one są czynnym elementem współpracującym z infrastrukturą. Jednak organizacja transportu nie jest łatwym zadaniem. Ciągle zmieniający się popyt na liniach o różnej długości i intensywności użycia utrudnia podjęcie decyzji owyborze taboru. Pojazdy o różnych parametrach technicznych jak i użytkowychwraz z określoną częstotliwością kursowania stanowią ofertę dla użytkowników, która nie zawsze jest dostosowania do potrzeb. Wszystkie zmiany mające wpływ na funkcjonowanie taboru, mają odzwierciedlenie w kosztach przedsiębiorstwa komunikacyjnego. Analizafunkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa pozwala zidentyfikować pewne obszary jego działania, które mogą być zoptymalizowane. Oszczędności dotyczą mniejszego zużycia paliwa poprzez dostosowanie zdolności przewozowej i rodzaju wykorzystywanego pojazdu.

As with many other combat sports, Thai boxing requires high levels of exertion which may result in various injuries. Their types and extent determine the nature of help required during rehabilitation. The aim of the study was to assess the risk of injury and indicate factors causing injury in Thai boxing. To this end, we conducted a survey among the members of the Nauk Muay Association of Physical Culture in Szczecin. Our respondents reported inappropriate technique as the most common cause of injuries. The second leading cause of injuries was an excessively ambitious approach in training. Injuries – most frequently bruises in lower extremities – were most often sustained during sparring. The incidence of injury was statistically significantly related to male gender and sporting experience; men were also most likely to sustain bruises from all types of trauma.
