This paper presents a formalised description of the models of influence propagation in social networks introduced in the classic paper of Kempe et al. The formal framework that we propose clarifies the structure of the most popular propagation models and helps rigorously re-establish the essential results concerning the problem of influence maximisation. We also introduce new models of propagation and show how they fit into the general picture. In particular, we focus on models that capture either positive or negative effects of resisting influence on individual’s future resistance.

The anthropological analysis was performed on skeletons of the Corded Ware culture and the Trzciniec culture, discovered in the mound from Gabultów. In a central grave it has been established that the fragmentarily preserved remnants belonged to an individual of the Adultus age, of indeterminate sex. In a niche grave there were buried three individuals: in the centre of the niche laid down the skeleton of the Maturus age, most probably a male of the intravital body height ca. 166 cm. The remnants that were laid on the back, the head being orientated northward belonged to an individual of the infans I/II age (6-7-year-old), of indeterminate sex and the remnants that have the head orientated southward belonged to an individual of the infans I age (3-4-year-old), of indeterminate sex. In a grave of the Trzciniec culture (feature 4) there survived bone fragments of an adult individual of indeterminate sex and in feature 5 the remnants belonged to an individual of the Juvenis age, of indeterminate sex.

Zbadano termodynamikę [2+3] cykloaddycji C-m,m,p-trimetoksyfenylo-N-p-metylofenylonitronu z E-3,3,3-trichloro-1-nitropropenem-1. Ustalono, że czynniki termodynamiczne najsilniej sprzyjają powstawaniu 3,4-trans-2-p-metylofenylo-3-m,m,p-trimetoksyfenylo-4-trichlorometylo- 5-nitroizoksazolidyny.

The thermodynamics of [2+3] cycloaddition reaction of C-m,m,p-trimethoxyphenyl-N-pmethylophenylnitrone with E-3,3,3-trichloro-1-nitropropene-1 were carried out. The thermodynamics effects indicate that 3,4-trans-2-p-methylophenyl-3-m,m,p-trimethoxyphenyl-4- -trichloromethylo-5-nitroisoxazolidines in this reaction are favored.

During the excavation carried out on site 6 in Zakrzowiec in 2004 on the route of the intended Motorway A4, a fragmentarily preserved anthropomorphic figurine was found in a vast clay pit. The figurine was found in the base part of the upper fill layer of feature 416, on the depth of 90-100 cm. The artifacts depicts surrealistically a female with the thin, well pronounced waist and the well-modelled breasts. The body survived, but the arms are missing (they were probably spread out in the orantes gesture). An oblong, fine depression on the back of the figurine probably indicates the spinal column. The buttocks are slightly asymmetric, while the legs are preserved only in their upper parts. The figurine was made of clay with a fine-grained mineral temper, brown (partially black-brown) in colour. Its dimensions are: the preserved height 44 mm, width at arms 32 mm, width at hips 24 mm, thickness 15 mm. The pottery material from the vicinity of the figurine is numerous but very poorly preserved. There are fragments of hollow-pedestalled beakers and of pottery ornamented with knobs beneath the rim and on the belly. There are also parts of short neck vessels and wide-opening vessels with notched rim bending outwards (the so called sand pottery) related to the salt extracting process. In considerations on cultural and chronological affiliation of the figurine one should take into account the place where the artifact was found, its context, and analogies from other sites. The pottery material from the vicinity of the figurine is typical for the Pleszów group of the Lengyel culture and suggests a probable cultural-chronological affiliation of the figurine. Females' Neolithic figurines are interpreted as symbols of procreation and vital power of the reviving nature.

The anthropological analysis of a skeleton of the Lublin-Volhynia Culture from Ksiaznice displays that human bones belong to a man, ca. 55-60 years old and an intravital body height of ca. 167-169 cm. Taking account of numerous, generalized generative-productive changes, strong development of muscle attachments and thus some groups of muscles, it may be assumed that the individual under study was probably engaged in intensive physical work.

The teeth were obtained from individuals representing Corded Ware and Trzciniec culture buried in the mound from Gabultów. The odontologic material under analysis is scanty, but since the mound was used as a burial site by representatives of different culture groups, it may be treated as an example of pilot model studies. The results of the present research may testify to two processes. Firstly, there can be observed a distinct chronological variability in relation to the concentrations of Sr and the Sr/Ca ratio, regarded as good indicators of the organism's nutrition. Secondly an analysis of three individuals (infans I, infans II, maturus) buried in a niche grave (KCS: feature 2), points to a radical and significant change in their eating habits. A significant increase in the Sr/Ca ratio may speak for both qualitative and quantitative changes in the proportions of the consumed food in respect of the increased amount of low-calcium products (plants) in the diet and, most probably, huge elimination of milk, milk-derived foods and maybe animal protein at the expense of products derived from plant crops.

Our paper presents the results of investigations on the treatment of waters involved in unit process ultrafiltration, hybrid process - coagulation/sedimentation/ultrafiltration and in-line coagulation/ultrafiltration. In membrane filtration that we applied immersed capillary membranes. Simulated water containing humic acids at 30 mg/l was ultrafiltered with a constant volumetric permeate flux amounting to 5.7*10"6 m3/m2-s. Four coagulants were tested, for which the optimal process parameters were determined experimentally. We determined the effectiveness of ultrafiltration and that of the hybrid system coagulation-membrane filtration, basing on measurements of the membranes' yield (permeate flux) and physico-chemical analysis of raw water and permeates. Also residual concentration of metal ions (Al and Fe) in permeates were determined. The application of the hybrid system, combining coagulation and ultrafiltration, offers better effects of the removal of organic pollution.

This preliminary study examines the potential effects of diagenetic processes on the oxygen-isotope ratios of bone and tooth phosphate (δ18O) from skeletal material of individuals representing the Corded Ware Culture (2500–2400 BC) discovered in Malżyce (Southern Poland). Intra-individual variability of Ca/P, CI, C/P, collagen content (%) and oxygen isotopes was observed through analysis of enamel, dentin and postcranial bones. Using a variety of analytical techniques, it was found that, despite the lack of differences in soil acidity, not all the parts of a skeleton on a given site had been equally exposed to diagenetic post mortem changes. In a few cases, qualitative changes in the FTIR spectrum of analysed bones were observed. The data suggest that apart from quantitative analyses, i.e., the calculation of Ca/P, CI, C/P and collagen content, qualitative analyses such as examination of the absorbance line are recommended. The degree to which a sample is, contaminated on the basis of any additional, non-biogenic peaks, deemed to be contaminated should also be specified.
