The paper presents way to modernization old electric drive systems. Exploitation requires qualification of technical state of machines . Author represents his working for assurance of changing of equipment. The high voltage field was changing by new vacuum switch and digital protection unit. The important part is overload protection. Author presents scheme a new 6 kV field after modernization . They were described the feeding cables with cable routs and start-up system . The new equipment will bring to exploitation without emergency pauses.
