The paper presents the results of research on soil reaction and their abundance of phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, conducted in 2013 in 50 farms situated in Pomorskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships. The study shows that the soil of agricultural land of these farms were largely characterized by inadequate state due to level of acidity and the content of macronutrients. It was found that exist great possibilities of optimizing the plant production by improving soil properties in the range of evaluated indicators.
