The main aim of the paper is to identify adaptive changes in elements of business models of high growth enterprises during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical considerations focus on the identification of high-growth enterprises and changes in the architecture of business models in line with the conceptual assumptions of the Business Model Canvas. The theoretical verification of the above issues allowed us to pose the research question: did the reorientation during the COVID-19 pandemic of business model elements allow the studied entities to maintain the status of high growth enterprises? The empirical study was conducted twice in 150 high growth enterprises. Based on the results obtained in 2019 and 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the business model structure of the surveyed companies has been identified, consistent with the Business Model Canvas. On this basis, it has been indicated that the reorientations of business model structures undertaken by high growth enterprises are aimed at maintaining their status. 83. 3% of the surveyed entities have remained high growth enterprises.
