Abstrakty

W amerykańskim systemie opieki zdrowotnej podstawowe znaczenie mają dwa jego segmenty: ubezpieczeniowy (prywatny) i rządowy (publiczny). Obydwa ukształtowane są odrębnie, ale drugi funkcjonuje jako subsydiarny wobec tego pierwszego (gdzie nie wchodzi w grę ubezpieczenie, tam wkracza władza publiczna). Niniejszy artykuł jest pierwszym z tego cyklu opracowań poświęconych przemianom zachodzącym w systemach opieki zdrowotnej poszczególnych państw.
