Agreements for tourist services are increasingly concluded by Polish consumers. At the same time, each year the insolvency of many travel agencies is recorded, which implies negative consequences for the people using their services. In addition, tourism is asector where the largest number of unfair contract terms is recorded. The use of such contract terms would significantly affect the interests of consumers, and slows down their position relative to the professionals. Under EU regulations such activities of travel companies are prohibited, and thus - not binding for consumers. Despite the relatively short duration of the regulations in this regard on the ground, also the Polish law currently provides a number of measures for both the control and elimination of unfair contract terms of consumers turnover.
