The paper presents a framework for the improvement of diagnostic efficiency in mammography. Reduction of observer's errors, correct interpretation of findings features and clear explicit communication of exam results has been identified as factors having the potential to ameliorate of mammograms, and in consequence to improve diagnostic efficiency. Analysis of radiologist's errors and their reasons based on analysis of medicalliterature has been performed. For known errors Teasons ("happy eye syndrome", and lack of systematic and exhaustive evaluation of all diagnosticall relevant lesion features) means that lower errors rate have been proposed. Those means are: standardized visual inspection of mammogram review areas (lower perception error), and based on ontology of mammography interface for description of mammograms (lower interpretation errors). The two steps form standardized protocol for mammography. Additional study is necessary for exact method efficiency estimation.
