New distributional data and new host plant for P. persicae in Poland are presented. Recently, this species has been recorded from the Sandomierz Lowland, in the south-eastern Poland. The morphology characters distinguishing this species from its relatives, variability of dorsal tubercles, host plants and information on the distribution of P. persicae in the world are given.
