EN

Information Architecture (IA) existed before a discipline and profession of this name was established. The author’s aim is to show, on selected examples, the beginnings of the concept of the contemporary IA. One of its tasks is to give the information a logical and understandable form for its recipient, while at the same time to make communication easier. The development of this discipline is linked to a wealth of information. From the very beginning, people have tried to make it easier for the recipients to understand the information. The author presents, on several selected examples, the beginnings of the development of the idea underlying the discipline of information design.
