Abstrakty

The aim of the study is to present a picture of a person stuttering in different communication spaces and interpersonal contacts and to discuss the therapeutic procedures used in speech therapy. The multifaceted problem of creating conditions for the proper development of communicative abilities is an important issue for the theory and practice of not only speech therapy but also pedagogical sciences. Particular attention is focused on the consequences of communication disorders in human life, in all its dimensions, and in measuring the quality of life. The importance of this issue is not only reflected in statistical data and the global problem of various socio-cultural groups, but also in the multidimensional nature of behavioral, emotional and social disorders.
