EN

The modern teacher should possess a number of competences connected with different areas of knowledge and skills. According to research and pedagogical literature he should be in possession of cognitive competence, research skills and creative competence. They all involve a considerable level of reflexivity - a quality that is expected from the modern teacher in the first place. Apart from these kernel requirements the list of desirable teacher competences includes psychological competence, communication competence, European (multicultural) competence and knowledge and skills related to IT technology.
