Abstrakty
W artykule przedstaw iono krótki rys historyczny, dotyczący rozwoju regionalizmu w Europie ze zwróceniem uwagi na specyficzną sytuację Polski oraz na ewolucję tego terminu. Głównym celem było zebranie i pogrupow anie różnych podejść do zagadnień regionalizmu i regionalizacji, jak również ustalenie typologii tych pojęć. W ykazano w tym opracowaniu złożoność opisywanych zagadnień i wieloznaczność omawianych terminów, wynikającą m. in. ze stosow ania tych pojęć w różnych kontekstach przez poszczególne dziedziny nauki.
The article shows a short outline of the historical development of regionalism in Europe (especially the situation in Poland). Moreover, the article contains the analysis of terms regionalism and regionalization. The main aim of writing this article is a description of schemes regionalism and regionalization divisions. Many definitions of regionalism base on differences between particular regions. In the article three groups of reasons is conspicuous which had influence on development of regionalism. On the one hand, ethnic reasons are connected with difference of language, tradition, culture and religion, on the other hand, the economic situation of regions is based on business development. The third group contains a political aspect. In the analysis of the regionalization process, two approaches to this term (geographical and political) is separated. The geographical approach is connected with a division and a differentiation of area. In the second approach a lawful sense of regions is changed.
