Determinants of Remote Work in the Opinion of the Representatives of the Z Generation
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The aim of the article is to define the perception of the factors that affect the course of remote work by the representatives of Generation Z in Poland. The achievement of the chosen goal was possible thanks to a literature review and a questionnaire survey. On the basis of the conducted research, it has been found that:
• organizations wanting to increase their competitiveness should improve their competences conditioning the effective use of new opportunities, including remote work,
• pace of development of the organization forces employees to constantly develop and improve their skills and abilities, their lack may lead to exclusion from the labour market,
• effectiveness of remote work implementation depends on the factors related to the employee, job position (nature of work), management process, organization and its culture and technology.
Based on the results obtained from the survey, it was found that, according to the representatives of Generation Z, the process of remote work implementation is influenced both by the organization's preparation in terms of equipment (technology, digitization) to carry it out, as well as the adaptation of processes (e.g. communication processes) and employee involvement in development of the necessary competencies.
