Abstrakty

Przedstawiono charakterystykę sektora publicznego i jego instytucji. Omówiono zagadnienie projektu oraz jego oceny jako narzędzia realizacji celów instytucji publicznej. Scharakteryzowano podstawy teoretyczne analizy kosztów i korzyści (cost-benefit analysis - CBA) oraz narzędzia i techniki praktycznej oceny kosztów i korzyści. Omówiono również praktyczne przykłady zastosowania CBA w instytucjach publicznych.

The paper describes the application of cost-benefit analysis (CBA) to the evaluation of public sector projects. A project and its assessment have been considered as tools for the realization of public institution objectives. Theoretical as well as practical aspects of the CBA were outlined and some specific applications of the analysis in public institutions presented. (J.W.)
