This article shows a brief perspective on the timeline between knowledge and innovation management and what is now known as Knowledge Intensive Business Services, where knowledge management has a leading role in the establishment of a competitive advantage in business organizations, a strategy that will allow them to reflect their competitiveness in a changing environment by mastering their innovation competence.
