Abstrakty

EN

The contribution deals with the most important aspects of quality of life, stating its key indicators such as health, safety and trust in goods and services. Good health and safety increase labour efficiency, decrease costs for health care and secure sustainable development of society. The trust in goods and services is an integral part of consumer protection. It must be based upon understanding the influence of various substances on human health, consumer awareness, improved European regulations, identification and promotion of the best experience, as well as inhabitants' protection from and their awareness of potential risks.(original abstract)
