Abstrakty
W artykule omówiono strukturę angielskiego systemu oświaty, mając na względzie przede wszystkim kategoryzację szkół na publiczne i niepubliczne, z uwzględnieniem w tym dychotomicznym podziale akademii, tj. placówek o szczególnym charakterze, wyjątkowych tylko dla szkolnictwa w Anglii. W pracy poruszono również inne zagadnienie, nieodłącznie związane z systematyzacją oświaty w danym państwie, a mianowicie opisano kwestię szkolnictwa na poziomie podstawowym, średnim i dalszej edukacji, rozszerzając te rozważania na kwestię poziomów uzyskiwanych przez uczniów kwalifikacji (key stages). The article discusses the structure of the English education system, considering two main categories of schools: public and non-public in the first place. However including academies, as institutions special only for education system in England. The paper pays also attention to the issue of primary, secondary and further education, as well as the role of key stages. (original abstract)
