Abstrakty

Filie zagraniczne korporacji transnarodowych (KTN) są interesującym obiektem dociekań naukowych, uzasadniającym potrzebę opracowania projektu badań. Dlatego też celem pracy jest przedstawienie propozycji metodologii jakościowych badań własnych nad filiami zagranicznymi KTN w Polsce. Na początku zaprezentowane zostało pojęcie i istota filii zagranicznych KTN, dzięki czemu możliwe jest określenie definicyjnych ram badanej populacji. Następnie opisano dostępne źródła danych o filiach zagranicznych w Polsce oraz przedstawiono ich krytyczną ocenę z perspektywy projektu badań własnych. W efekcie zaproponowano koncepcję badań jakościowych opartą na doborze nielosowym i technice wywiadu częściowo ustrukturyzowanego wraz ze wskazaniem zalet i wad zastosowanego podejścia. Foreign subsidiaries of transnational corporations (TNCs) are interesting research subject. To study them we need to construct a research project. Thus the aim of this thesis is to show the own proposal of methodology in conducting qualitative study on TNCs' foreign subsidiaries in Poland. The thesis begins with the definition of foreign subsidiary of TNC. It helps to term the borders of the population research. Then there is the description of available source of data on foreign subsidiaries in Poland with a critic evaluation of them from the point o view of conducting field research. Finally, it is proposed to study foreign subsidiaries in qualitative manner based on non-probabilistic method of sample selection and semi-structured interview as a research technique. The author points pros and cons of this type of research project, too. (original abstract)
