Omówiono zmiany strukturalne w zatrudnieniu w przemyśle przetwórczym w wybranych krajach za lata 1965-1977. Przedstawiono dynamikę zatrudnienia w przemyśle przetwórczym w wybranych krajach w latach 1968-1977.

The article discusses the changes in the structure of employment in the processing industry of the capitalist countries in the 70s. The conducted analysis has shown a steady decline of the share of employment in the processing industry in the entire employment. However, there are significant differences as regards the pace of the decrease of employment in particular countries. At the same time in the investigated period occurred changes in the structure- of the employment in the processing industry. Employment increased in the industry of plastic articles, precision products, furniture, means of transport employment decreased in the textile industry, steel industry, woodworking industry. The leading branches with respect to employment were the machine - building industry, transport equipment industry, industry of electric machines and metal industry. In the 70s there was some shifting of position in the top ten industries. The textile and metallurgical industries occupied lower positions. (original abstract)
