Technology Transfer Offices (TTO's) were set up to create value for their parent Universities. In doing so, they are faced with managing innovation (or innovation Management) inside the faculties in order to evaluate and generate innovation that will ultimately create value through a valorisation process. Innovation Management in faculties generally shows fundamental flaws in rie ways in which much faculty science is translated into business and demonstrates a quite high failure rate of efforts. Major reasons have been identified and are mainly the consequences of the independence of the faculties: poor definition of commonly agreed goals, poor alignment of actions towards goals, loor participation by professors in teams, poor monitoring of results, poor sharing and collaboration, poor celebration of shared success etc. (fragment of text)
