W jego ocenach polski rynek kapitałowy charakteryzuje się skromną ofertą dla polskich inwestorów, ograniczoną do kilkunastu funduszy inwestycyjnych i ubezpieczeniowych funduszy kapitałowych. Financial instruments that allow investing in the shares of domestic and European companies are widely available in the polish capital market. However, in the last few years the highest returns were achieved by the Asian stock exchanges, particularly the Chinese one. Allocating capital to the shares listed in China or Hong Kong could secure higher returns than that available in other regions of the world. The aim of this paper is to analyze the accessibility and variety of instruments offered to polish investors that enable them to invest in the companies listed in the region of Asia and Pacific. The main sources used were the statistics provided by financial literature and materials issued by capital institutions such as Warsaw Stock Exchange or the Chamber of Fund and Asset Management. On the basis of the analysis it can be stated that the number and variety of analyzed instruments is limited. There is no Exchange Traded Funds and Hedge Funds exposed to the Asian market labie. Similarly, there arę no companies listed at the Warsaw Stock Exchange that arę itered in Asia or have their primary business activity there. However there exist 15 polish mutual funds as well as 26 unit linked investment funds allocating capital to Asian cets. The foreign investment funds is the group of instruments that offer the greatest variety and accessibility. (original abstract)
