Abstrakty
The primary goal of the paper is to present the class of econometric models, which are increasingly used in modern empirical economic analysis. These are the spatial econometrics models, designed especially for the analysis of geographically located data: spatial and spatial-time. The starting point of the presentation is to demonstrate feasibility of models of spatial interaction during the changes of the functioning of the global economy. In this context, the current level of development of the theory and applications of spatial econometrics and panel models, which should provide a significant extension of a set of tools in the "new econometrics" is showing.
