W artykule poruszono problem losowania dwustopniowego w sytuacji występowania braków odpowiedzi.
In this paper, the well-known two-stage sampling scheme was modified by introducing second phase of sampling (subsampling) when nonresponse occurs at the second stage. General, arbitrary sampling designs characterized by inclusion probabilities were assumed in both stages and in the second phase. An unbiased mean value estimator was proposed. Its variance under general stochastic nonresponse mechanism was derived. The expectation operators, present in the general formula for the variance, conveniently vanish when additional assumptions concerning sampling designs and response distribution are made. Moreover, an unbiased variance estimator for this mean value estimator was proposed. Finally the variance of the estimator was derived for the special case of simple random sampling without replacement and deterministic nonresponse. The formula for the unbiased estimator of its variance was also presented. (fragment of text)
