Abstrakty

Sektor nieruchomości obejmuje rynek budowlany i rynek nieruchomości. Opisano charakterystykę sytuacji panującej w sektorze budowlanym. Na początku omówiono strukturę działalności przedsiębiorstw budowlanych. Następnie wskazano tendencje pojawiające się w sferze zatrudnienia oraz zaopatrzenia w surowce i materiały budowlane. Całą sytuację przedstawiono na tle innych krajów Unii Europejskiej.

The property sector includes the construction market and the property market. Construction activities and the property market are therefore closely interlinked. Furthermore, the interdependence of both these areas of economic activity is especially significant due to the sudden changes currently taking place on the property market. Rising demand, generated by the higher availability of mortgage credit and the influx of EU structural funds into Poland, has initiated many new investment projects. The situation in the construction industry has a major impact on the success of already commenced or planned investment projects. Therefore, in order to better understand the processes occurring in the property sector, it is necessary to carry out an assessment of building and assembly activities. By looking at the property sector through the prism of construction firms, it may be possible to reveal certain trends that would otherwise not be perceived. The author's description of the situation in the construction sector is based on an analysis of the structure building firms' activities, their employment levels, and the supply of construction materials. In a later part of the article, the analysis is expanded to include the characteristics of the Polish construction sector compared to other European Union countries. In the third part of the article, the author attempts to identify and systematise trends in the construction sector. The article closes with forecasts of construction firm activities over the coming years. (original abstract)
