Abstrakty

Unia Europejska, jako najbardziej rozwinięty wzorzec ugrupowania integracyjnego skłania do refleksji nad międzynarodowymi uwarunkowaniami tego fenomenu. Przedstawiono powiązania i oddziaływania międzynarodowe, na których charakter wpływa z jednej strony europeizacja, a z drugiej globalizacja. Procesy te współistnieją wzajemnie się przenikając i wpływając na siebie. Określono związek pomiędzy globalizacją i europeizacją oraz jego konsekwencje dla europejskiej integracji gospodarczej i politycznej, a także rozwoju strategii regulowanych przez państwa członkowskie.

The European Union, as the most advanced example of an integrated grouping, constitutes the starting point for the author’s discussion of the international determinants of this phenomenon. In her deliberations on European integration, the author moves beyond a narrow framework of analysis - restricted to relations between member states and Community institutions - to a broader perspective encompassing international links and interactions, characterised by, on the one hand, the Europeanisation, and, on the other, the globalisation, of processes that co-exist, overlap, and influence each other. Furthermore, the author attempts to define the relationship between globalisation and Europeanisation and its implications for European economic and political integration and the development of adjustment strategies by member states.
