Abstrakty

Dorobek endogenicznej teorii wzrostu gospodarczego pozwala sądzić, że czynnik kapitału ludzkiego nie tylko jest determinantą długookresowego wzrostu, ale także umożliwia wyjaśnienie zmian w podziale dochodów (produktu) pomiędzy podmiotami mikroekonomicznymi na ścieżce długookresowego wzrostu. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie zależności przyczynowo-skutkowych występujących pomiędzy akumulacją kapitału ludzkiego a dyspersją dochodową, wyrastających na gruncie dorobku teorii wzrostu endogenicznego. Aby usystematyzować wnioski wynikające z modeli wzrostu, wyodrębniono teoretyczne mechanizmy (uwarunkowania) wiążące kapitał ludzki za sposobem podziału dochodów, tj. efekty zewnętrzne akumulacji kapitału ludzkiego (spillover), źródła finansowania kształcenia, płodność i śmiertelność oraz heterogeniczność preferencji podmiotów ekonomicznych (obywateli, pracowników) w zakresie kształcenia. The aim of this article is to present the cause-and-effect dependencies between human capital accumulation and income dispersion identified on the basis of endogenous growth theory. In order to systematise the conclusions drawn from growth models, the author identifies the theoretical mechanisms (conditions) linking human capital with the method of income division, i.e., the spillover effects of human capital accumulation, the sources of financing education, fertility and life expectancy, and the heterogeneous preferences of agents (citizens) in regard to education. A review of endogenous growth theory shows that human capital accumulation does not guarantee that a perfect process of income equalisation will come into being. However, on the basis of endogenous growth models with an isolated human capital factor, it is possible to design economic policy tools that will support egalitarianism whilst not harming the effectiveness of economic growth processes.
