Fundusze venture capital są wypróbowanym na rynku prywatnym instrumentem wspomagania rozwoju przedsiębiorstw. W artykule przedstawiono warunki efektywnego działania publicznych funduszy venture capital.
The spectacular successes that venture capital fund s began to achieve in supporting private enterprises soon gave rise to many imitators, including a number of national governments seeking ways of accelerating economic growth and enterprise development. This article addresses the creation of public venture capital funds using non-private means. It deals with the differing goals of private and public funds and defines a group of goals established for funds created from public money. The author summarises the basic factors that determine the success of non-private Venture capital funds as well as the role of public authorities in the development of the entire venture capital sector.
