Abstrakty

Region depresyjny, to obszar województwa, który charakteryzuje się monostrukturą przemysłową, podlegającą procesom dekapitalizacji majątku produkcyjnego (np. zagłębia węglowe w Polsce). Zdaniem autora regiony te muszą podlegać specyficznym zasadom polityki podatkowej, kredytowej, zachęcającym do podejmowania działalności produkcyjnej i tworzącej nowe miejsca pracy, a także podlegać wspólnym przedsięwzięciom inwestycyjnym infrastruktury technicznej i ochrony środowiska naturalnego.

Having defined the notion of a region of depression, the author describes the typology of the limits accompanying restructuring processes. The article points to the economic and social conditions related to the structural transformations in those regions. The policy of the state and the regions has been described here. The article aims at drawing attention to this problem and showing the so called "script" of solutions of the increasing problems. (original abstract)
