Omówiono wprowadzone w konsekwencji znowelizowanego w 1991 roku prawa górniczego i prawa geologicznego opłaty koncesyjne za wydobycie kopalin oraz opłaty eksploatacyjne odkrytych złóż w zależności od rodzaju kopaliny.

The implementation of the economic instruments in the exploration and the prospecting exploration is limited. They are functioning satisfactory in the mechanism of resource allocation. But even in the industrialized countries the prospecting exploration and, what is more important, the exploration itself, are under the state control. The royalties are necessary in this case, due to environmental problems and the role of the resources in the economy. Tn this context, solutions implemented in Poland are standard ones and should work well. (original abstract)
