The aim of the Post-Registration Variety Testing System was the assessment of usefulness of listed potatoes varieties for their cultivation, use and recommendation to practice in regions characterized by different climatic and soil conditions. Field experiments were carried out in the climatic conditions of Wielkopolskie, at the Experimental Station of Variety Testing Kościelna Wieś-Kościelec. Experiments with 20 potato varieties were carried out in three vegetation seasons – 2007, 2008 and 2009. During performed studies the occurrence of disease and pest and potato yielding were determined. On the base of obtained results some potatoes varieties could be recommended to agricultural practice in climate and soil Wielkopolska conditions.
