The main aim of this article is to analyze development of pension system in Poland from its beginning to nowadays. Author is also analyzing some interesting elements of pension systems in Sweden and Finland, that are worth to implement into Polish pension system. The goal of the article is also to shown origin of differences between senior policy applied in different countries.
