The article shows analysis results of the data concerning the economic cooperation between Poland and Russia after 1990. The data collected present the size of dealings between the both states. This data reveal that the Polish economy is to a large extent dependent on the Russian economy in the sector of raw materials, i.e. petroleum, natural gas or iron ores. However, the Russian economy is one of main recipients of Polish products such as the electrical machinery industry, chemicals, farm food and consumer articles. In spite of many problems that occur in mutual contacts and the cooperation, the current economic cooperation should be perceived positively.
