The purpurose of this article is to discuss the features of dialectal language (used in towns and villages located around Lodz) associated with priesthood. The investigation of single words and groups of words in terms of the structure of their lexical and stylistic functions focuses on common names in these dialects and general language as well as on their variability, modifications of meaning and language processes.
