W refleksji nad archiwizacją Internetu, rozumianą bardzo szeroko i obejmującą takie zasoby cyfrowe jak klasyczne strony WWW, poczta elektroniczna czy serwisy społecznościowe, nie można ograniczać się wyłącznie do kontekstu działań instytucjonalnych i administracyjnych prowadzonych już przez archiwa czy biblioteki narodowe. Artykuł proponuje przegląd oddolnych i obywatelskich inicjatyw archiwizacji Webu.

In the discussion on archiving the Internet, in the very broad sense, including digital materials like WWW sites, electronic mail or social networks, one cannot focus just on the context of institutional and administrative actions, already taken by archives or national libraries. The articles proposes a review of grassroots and citizen initiatives of archiving the Web.
