In the course of the last two decades, intense work was carried out in Poland on building national defense organizations. Strategic thinking and action, expressed in the contents of the doctrine and strategy after 1989, illustrate the way we arrived at the present state of affairs. The contents of these documents is proof of its objective and subjective messages. Awareness of the challenges that it stumbled upon during this time, but also the strengths and weaknesses of the work carried out, are unavoidable for becoming competent while not repeating mistakes from the past.
