Abstrakty

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the unemployed profiling concepts and methods based on econometric modelling, used in Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden and the UK. These methods rationalize the allocation of funding for active labour market policies and help making decisions about early intervention towards people at risk of long-term unemployment. Strengths and weaknesses of the methodologies have been identified, especially noting the widespread use of IT technology and a wide range of profiling analyzes.

W artykule dokonano analizy porównawczej koncepcji i metod profilowania bezrobotnych bazujących na modelowaniu ekonometrycznym w Danii, Finlandii, Holandii, Irlandii, Szwecji i wielkiej Brytanii. Stosowane w tych krajach procedury racjonalizują alokację środków przeznaczanych na aktywną politykę rynku pracy i pomagają w podejmowaniu decyzji o wczesnej interwencji wobec osób zagrożonych bezrobociem długookresowym. Wskazano mocne i słabe strony stosowanych metodologii, zwracając uwagę na powszechność wykorzystywania nowoczesnych technologii komputerowych i szeroki zakres prowadzonych analiz.
