This article presents a unique collection of artefacts stored in the District Museum in Toruń. To date it was merely mentioned in the literature. The collection coming from Western Pomerania, donated to the museum in 1948 by Professor Bożena Stelmachowska consists of seven items of varying stage of preservation. These are: a pottery vessel and six artefacts made almost entirely of bronze, apart from small iron elements in three of them. All items should be linked with production of the Jastorf culture population. As far as the hand made vessel is a form derived from the Jastorf culture tradition typical of Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt, the metal objects in terms of style are marked by strong influence of the La Tène culture originating from analogous Celtic artefacts. To them belong: a necklace with bowl-shaped ends variant O/1 after Voigt, a bracelet variant 2 of pearl-like bracelets with profiling using bands after Brandt, a buckle belt, probably together with belt metal parts analogous to the belt mounts co-occurring with Zierkopfgürtelhaken, two different chains and perhaps a fragment of a brooch. All analysed here artefacts can be dated already to the LT B2, although also older stage of the middle La Tène period cannot be excluded (LT C1 = phase IIa after Seyer). Chronological consistency of the collection presented here allowes to accept the possibility that we are dealing with one grave assemblage dating to the times from about mid-3rd century BC to the beginning of the 2nd century BC. In the context of the presented artefacts the author also signals issues related to the mechanisms of widespread of the La Tène culture in central and northern Europe. She emphasizes the role of migration in the Celtic royal families played in the civilization leap of peoples living to the north of the La Tène culture areas.
