The article presents the different variants of paedophilia diagnosis which appear in the literature of the subject as well as in professional practice in the area of forensic-sexological opinions. The attempt to systematise the available knowledge and own diagnostic experience is aimed at emphasising the clinical understanding of paedophilia, taking into account the legal consequences of this diagnosis. Theoretical considerations will be supported by examples from practice which reflect the diversity of paedophilia diagnosis that appear in forensic-sexological opinions.
