Abstrakty
The burial ground in Rogowo, partially destroyed, was documented in the form of 139 graves. Of this group, 137 graves is associated with the Oksywie culture, while 2 graves with the Wielbark culture. Based on the chronological analysis of grave goods coming from 51 graves, four chronological groups were distinguished (group I: phase A2-A3, the beginning of phase A3 of the younger pre-Roman period; group A3 - phase A3 of the younger pre-Roman period; group III - phase B1 of the early Roman period; Group IV - phase B2/C1 of the Roman period). In terms of culture, in addition to the native features of the Oksywie culture, was recorded the influence of the Jastorf circle, Przeworsk and even Scandinavian. Thus, the burial ground of the Oksywie culture should be dated from phase A2 - A3 of the younger pre-Roman period to phase B1 of the early Roman period. Deposition of two burials of the Wielbark culture, dated to phase B2/C1, is treated as an event without any connection with previously functioning burial ground of the Oksywie culture. The special value of the burial ground in Rogowo, against the background of similar features recorded in the burial ground in Wygoda, it the possibility of undertaking the study on final stages of the Oksywie culture development, which in the light of these results can be placed in phase B1 of the early Roman period. This issue, however, requires undertaking the detailed studies.
