PL

Artykuł pokazuje proces instytucjonalizacji kryptoaktywów. Zostaje postawiona teza, że szereg globalnie działających aktorów wykonuje obecnie intensywną pracę instytucjonalną, której skutkiem jest legitymizacja kryptoaktywów. Owa legitymizacja dokonuje się paradoksalnie w kontraście do idei leżącej u podstaw powstania kryptoaktywów, które miały radykalnie ograniczyć znaczenie tradycyjnych instytucji finansowych. Analizie jakościowej poddano materiały poruszające temat kryptoaktywów wytwarzane przez trzy grupy aktorów: finansowe korporacje transnarodowe (banki inwestycyjne i duże grupy bankowości detalicznej), banki centralne krajów grupy G7 oraz globalne firmy konsultingowe jako reprezentantów globalnego sektora usługowego. W wymiarze empirycznym została dokonana rekonstrukcja narracji na temat kryptoaktywów prezentowanych przez aktorów instytucjonalnych centralnych dla kształtu globalnych rynków finansowych. Na poziomie ogólnym artykuł stara się pogłębić wiedzę na temat tego, w jaki sposób podmioty centralne dla rynków finansowych przejmują instytucje, które powstały z intencją ich radykalnego osłabienia.
