Abstrakty

J. L. Austin’s term behavitives is translated into Slovak as behavitívy. However, so far it has not become common in Slovak scientific terminology. In the present study we explain it in the context of the stylistically and pragmatically close notions as the honorative, politeness formuli, greetings or text modificators. The data in Slovak indicate that the above from the linguistic, social, communicative and cultural aspects represent a markedly differentiated set of notions.
