EN

The evaluation of radio-technical troops combat potential is a complicated activity which requires estimating many elements and relations influencing radar system functioning. Attempt to systemise selective components of such an evaluation seems justified as it gives a possibility to evaluate precisely radio-technical troops combat potential. Considering this potential in the aspect of technology characteristics used to accomplish their task, one can conclude that the technical criterion is worth paying special attention. All the system features characteristic for the system elements and structures effectiveness will be called the technical criterion. The basic system technical features include its reliability, readiness and durability. The authors’ literature examination and their own considerations enable issuing a statement that searching for a model of technical readiness evaluation and examining its influence upon combat readiness is real. Currently there have appeared conditions for a better, in comparison to traditional methods, cognition of cause- effect relations due to the use of computer simulation.
