Przedstawiono cechy charakteryzujące słupy kompozytowe, które pomogą rozwiązać problemy w dotychczasowych rozwiązaniach i poprawią bezpieczeństwo i wygląd napowietrznych linii elektroenergetycznych.

The aim of the paper is to present the area of system protection structures with their decision algorithms which makes possible to univocal identify the transition for island operation power systems with distributed generation sources. The main feature of this automation system is the high reliability of the worked decision and a very law sensitivity to the presence of faults in the power grid .
